ABOUT PEPPERDINE'S
REELSTORIES FILM FESTIVAL
The ReelStories Film Festival is an annual celebration of student filmmaking and creative talent. Founded in 2010 by a group of students with a shared belief in the power of storytelling, this vibrant event offers fellow undergraduate filmmakers the opportunity to showcase impactful stories and convey powerful messages through the captivating art of short films.

This year, we unite under the theme A Night in Hollywood: a tribute to the classic, timeless spirit that has defined cinema for generations. Hollywood is more than just our neighboring city; it is a symbol for dreams coming true, for stories to be heard, and for the voices that bring us together. From its golden age to today, Hollywood has stood as a climax of artistry and ambition, where countless creators turned imagination into captivating masterpieces. By embracing this theme, we honor not only the films that shaped culture, but also the future filmmakers that will continue to contribute to the enduring magic that remind us why we fell in love with the silver screen in the first place.

We hope you enjoy ReelStories Film Festival 17!
