Storytelling has the power to inspire, empower and illustrate new perspectives.
ReelStories is a student-led film festival that seeks to unite the Pepperdine and the Malibu communities through a night of celebration and appreciation of film. RSFF provides an opportunity for young filmmakers to instill change by crafting meaningful narratives that captivate and challenge.
REELSTORIES FILM FESTIVAL 12
TUESDAY – FRIDAY, APRIL 6 - 9, 2021
This year, with our online platform, we shift our focus to the work and creative perspective of all students, filmmakers, and non-filmmakers alike...
The festival week will consist of three main parts:
RSFF in Retrospect
A look back at student film submissions from past RSFF years.
Student Filmmaker Showcase
Are you a film student who was able to create a film for class this year against all odds? We wanna see it!
“Real” Stories Feature Film
For RSFF12 we want to honor student voices and commemorate the year we’ve all been going through. No prior film experience needed.
Our weeklong premiere will feature our Student Filmmaker Showcase and RSFF in Retrospect which will highlight films from ReelStories Festivals from previous years.
We also invite all students to collaborate with The Board in this year's first "Real" Stories Feature Film as we aim to honor and uplift your voices in reflection of the past year.
Submissions are now open, we're so excited to see what you've created this year and hope to hear your voice as a part of the "Real" Stories Feature Film!
